Appointment Accompaniment
Support attending appointments or community activities during scheduled companion visits. We provide a supportive presence for life’s important tasks.
Note: Stand-alone transportation services are not provided. Transportation may be provided only as part of a scheduled companion visit when appropriate.
Household & Errand Support
The everyday upkeep that keeps a home comfortable and running well. These are the tasks that quietly get harder over time — and the ones adult children most often find themselves driving over to handle.
Light housekeeping
Tidying living areas, dusting, wiping down kitchen and bathroom surfaces, taking out trash and recycling, and general day-to-day upkeep so the home stays pleasant and manageable.
Meal preparation
Planning and preparing meals around your loved one’s own tastes and routine, portioning and storing leftovers, keeping the refrigerator and pantry orderly, and cleaning up afterward.
Grocery & shopping assistance
Building the shopping list together, going along to the store or shopping on their behalf, and unloading and putting everything away once home.
Errands
Post office runs, dry cleaning, returns, library trips, and the other small errands that pile up — handled during scheduled visits.
Laundry & linens
Washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing, plus changing bedding and keeping towels and linens fresh.
Household organization
Decluttering rooms and closets, sorting incoming mail and paperwork into a system that makes sense, and general home-management support that keeps things findable.
What household support does not include. These are non-medical services. YourPlace LLC does not provide nursing, medication management or reminders, hands-on personal care, bathing, toileting, transfers, or any other regulated care service. We also do not provide heavy cleaning, and transportation is not offered as a standalone service. If licensed care is needed, we are glad to help you identify providers in the area.
